Shipping mix up

Just to let everyone know there is NOT a $4 shipping charge per tie if you order with PayPal. I am trying to get that fixed but I am not having the best luck. Standard shipping is $4 unless it is a large order. Thanks for your understanding! :)

Oops!! The pictures of the ones on top would be cute for the holidays or a costume for a dance group and the others would be cute for a witch costume! I'm sure you all got that but I just wanted to let you know I'm not CRAZY!! :)

Look at my cute new creation...Tutus!!

How cute are these for a witch costume!!

These are just fun for the holidays!! They would be such a cute costume for dance group!

I am going to be making some fun girly- non holiday tutus this week so I will get pictures of them posted! I am loving them, they are so much fun!! Just so you know in these pictures, the tutus are cute but not as cute as they are in person!!

I have been told they are selling Tutus at Gardner Village for around $30-$40 that aren't as cute as these. I don't know because I have not seen them but I just wanted everyone to know I will be selling these for anywhere between $18-$30 depending on the size and amount of "Bling" you want incorporated into the tutu. :)

The sizes will be X-small to Large. The X-small will be for 0-12 months, Small 1-3years, Medium 3-6 years, and Large 6 years and up. I make the tutus with an elastic waist so they stretch and will fit for a long time. I just sold a medium one to an adult, she was probably a size 0 but she fit into it and liked the length. I will not reveal my pant size but I will tell you I can fit into a large (and I am not a size 0, not even close!)

I would be more than willing to do custom orders if I can find what you are looking for, just let me know! The tutus are so much fun I hope you all like them as much as I do! :)

Update...

I am very sad to say I just sold the last tie to be made out of the lime twist fabric. I have not been able to find this same fabric again but I will keep looking. It is a spring/ summer look so I may be able to get more next season. Like I have mentioned before, I get the fabrics and when I run out sometimes I can't get them again. If you see something you like get it while you can! :) Thanks everyone for your orders, I have really been enjoying making the ties for you!

Lots of ties

This is just a picture of some of the ties I have done right now. I thought it would be fun to see them all together.

Red & blue dots, zebra, old school, summer lovin', lime twist, classic black, celery, classic blue, touch of green, black w/ silver stripes, brown, hot pink, black & red stripe, ice blue, and ocean.

You can scroll down to a previous post to see a closer view of the colors and patterns if you need.
I thought it would be fun to see boys wearing the ties. I think the ties always look different on, it gives you a better idea of how cute they are! :) The ages of the boys in these pictures ranges from 5 months to 4 years, so you can see I can do any size up to about age 10.

I just wanted to say a big Thank you to my friends who let me use their boys as models! We had a great time and lots of laughs, 6 boys under 4 years oh boy!!

New fabrics!

I have some fun new fabrics I thought I would share with you all!

Geometric

This one is an off white background with a taupe, black and charcoal

This is also off white with olive and grey

Stripes

This is a golden tan with raised stripes. I love the texture of these three fabrics.

Navy blue with silver stripes. You can't really tell from this picture but the navy part of the fabric has a raised stripe through it.

Chocolate brown with raised stripes.

Black with grey stripes.

This is a tan haringbone fabric with metalic gold running through it.

This is a navy fabric with colored stripes.

Polkadots

Red with white dots.

This is red fabric with a tiny metalic silver dot which gives the fabric a sheen, it is really pretty, or should I say handsome.

Royal blue with white dots.

Chocolate brown with copper and slate blue dots.

More patterned fabrics

I love this fabric, it is navy blue with purple and light blue through it.

Light blue fabric with chocolate brown designs.

How ties work.

Here are some pictures to show you how the ties work, I want to get a video on here but I am struggling with it. I hope to figure it out soon and get that on here too.

This is a tie with the elastic and snaps.

You can see the back just snaps together, this is much easier on babies as well as some toddlers.

Close up view of the snap & elastic.

This shows the back of the tie, as you can see it has a loop so the extention part of the tie will stay in place.

These ties are the ones that I would do for an infant on up to about age 2. I always do the snap on these ties just because it is much easier than trying to get your kid to cooperate as you try to get the tie over their head. You can let me know if you would like the snap-up or not I can do it either way.

As you can see, you just pull on the loop part of the tie to loosen it...

Then pull on the extendor part to tighten it.

This is a tie for older kids, as you can see there is not a snap. This is one that would need to go over your kids head and then be tightened.

This is the back of the tie which is very much the same as the previous ties but this does not have the snap-up back.

Under Construction...

Ok so I am just getting this blog up and going as well as the business... I hope to have a lot more pictures on here including fabric swatches, as well as more detailed pictures of the ties.. all in due time. Please be patient with me I promise I am working on it! I have a few pictures that I am posting of the ties but I will get better ones on here soon! Thanks for your patience, it is greatly appreciated! :)

By the way the adorable headband and flower on the baby girl are made by my friend Sarah. She makes the cutest clippies for babies, little girls and even moms, I wear her clippes in my hair all the time... the ribbon ones or ones with small flowers, not the big ones :) Anyway if you are interested you should check out her blog, it's sallysclippies.blogspot.com the link is here on my page. She has the best prices around, and the cutest clippies hands down!!

This handsome little guy is almost 10 months old.

This tie is the same size as the one pictured above. This little man is about 18 months old but he is a bit small for his age.

The ties are not just for babies and toddlers, I can also make them a bit larger for older kids as well. This cute little man is almost 5.

This handsome guy is almost 8.

If you are looking for a certain color or pattern, just let me know. I will do my best to find what you are looking for. It seems like some of my fabrics will be changing with the seasons, the patterned ties especially. The solid colors should be available year round. If there is a pattern you see and like I would reccomend getting it sooner rather than waiting, I may not be able to get the same fabric again. Thanks again for your patience! :)
